Introduction
What is art? Common question that everyone can ask.
Art is when you take brush and canvas, when you put your fingers on a piano key, when you make ceramic material into pots of pottery wares using mud, when you turn on music and start to dance, when you read a book and start to act, when you take a camera and start to take pictures, when you take pencil and start to design everything. But today we will talk about a little part of art: Drawing.
Here is the answer of Lev Tolstoy who was a famous Russian writer and who is regarded as one of the greatest authors of all time:
“Art is not, as the metaphysicians say, the manifestation of some mysterious idea
of beauty or God; it is not, as the aesthetical physiologists say, a game in which
man lets off his excess of stored-up energy; it is not the expression of man’s
emotions by external signs; it is not the production of pleasing objects; and,
above all, it is not pleasure; but it is a means of union among men, joining
them together in the same feelings, and indispensable for the life and progress
toward well-being of individuals and of humanity.”
Lev Tolstoy
In this article I will discuss about how we are able to draw; how art helps in our life; and how we can prove our skills.
